Greg brought lattes over this morning--like he usually does when he picks up Chris to go to
Less Distracted. How to describe what Less Distracted (LD) is like? Remember when you were between the ages of seven and eleven, and you would make-believe that your backyard was a magical kingdom, and you were a double agent ninja princess, and the patio was your castle and the swingset was where the evil spies were? LD is a place where you can pretend that you're in an internet start-up circa 1997, with your very own desk! I like to think of it as "playing office" or "playing cubicle." That's what it feels like to me, although I know they do get a lot of work done while they're there.
I'm going to go to the gym today. I'm excited because today is lower body day, and my legs are by far the strongest part of my body. (For instance, I can bench press maybe 30 pounds, but I can leg press over two hundred easily.) Weight lifting makes me feel stronger and I can see progress everytime I go in. I've also decided to change my cardio routine. I am doing more treadmill and less eliptical. I don't like running, but if I put the treadmill at a really high incline and walk at a fast pace I get totally sweaty. I like to think of it as training for San Francisco. Pseudo-hills.
